PB14

Phoenix® PB14 is a continuous filament non-woven polyester fabric designed specifically for protecting sensitive areas on both new and renovated construction projects.

There are three main categories of use (1) As a protection membrane over newly applied waterproofing material, (2) Cover for hardwood floors, decks, footings, walls, and appliances, (3) As protection for swimming pool liners both on new and relined pools.

This patented process consists of several layers of nonwoven polyester fabric that resists energy damage from objects prior to completion of construction.

A stiff top layer resists the impact as the softer lower layer reduces the energy over a larger area.

In addition to its protective characteristics, PB14 also can be used as a drainage board in low–flow requirement areas. Continuous filament polyester has superior air and water permeability in both the direct and planer flow. Thus making a suitable vertical drain system on aboveground applications.
